OUR STORY
Who We Are
Summit Athletix was born out of a passion for training athletes for the journey of life. Our staff has spent years in many different business and competitive sports environments. We love training athletes but more importantly, we want our athletes to understand the lessons we are teaching do not apply exclusively to tumbling or all star cheer. These lessons are life lessons.
Our vision is to intentionally train athletes to develop life skills - and ultimately faith - through their journey as an athlete.
Background
From Coach Lacy:
"I am a Leader by nature. I am a Coach by heart. I learned how to explain concepts to others at a very early age. I was a competitive gymnast and cheerleader in my childhood, but started coaching when I was 16. Over the years I have lead children and adults in many different environments but most importantly - parenting. As I began raising my kids, coaching others took a backseat.
As my daughter was introduced to competitive cheerleading I determined there was no other sport that compared. Regardless of whether our athletes choose cheerleading, tumbling, or recreational classes. I believe the concepts that are taught - even inadvertently - are priceless.
My husband and I were busy raising our own kids to embody the concepts of perseverance, dedication, responsibility, and purpose. Competitive cheer was a nature fit to continue fostering those lessons. I want the kids I coach to develop the same skills my own kids learned. Those lessons are priceless and develop faith in Jesus.
As adults and leaders it is our responsibility to raise the next generation to know how to work together to achieve a goal. They have to learn perseverance, dedication, and responsibility to themselves and others. Our kids are going to struggle through employment, marriage, and raising their own kids if they do not learn these lessons. My highest priority as a gym owner is to provide an environment where athletes will be guided through these lessons while ultimately developing their faith in Jesus Christ.

WHY WE ARE HERE
We are here to share our passion for the sport of cheerleading and tumbling with the next generation of athletes. Our staff has been in a variety of athletic environment and we desired another option for athletes and coaches.
We wanted to design an environment where athletes AND coaches experience our Core Values. Specifically, we felt there was a need for gym that provided:
- Adequate equipment for training athletes from beginner to upper levels
- A clean, updated environment
- A structured environment
- An environment that feels welcoming
- A place where parents can enjoy watching their athletes
- A noticeable excitement and PASSION for the sport of cheer and tumbling
- A leadership staff that desires to PARTNER WITH PARENTS in their athlete's athletic journey
WHY YOU ARE IMPORTANT
You are not reading this by accident. Our core staff prayed over the parents and athletes that will through our doors from the inception of this gym. We are excited to share our passion for the sport with your family. You are here on PURPOSE!
